rsync + ssh is the best when it comes to syncing multiple files from host to host, especially when you’ve updated so many file that you don’t remember what has changed. But what happens when you don’t have SSH access? Easy, use CURLFTPFS.

First, install curlftps

apt-get install curlftpfs

Next, make a mount point

mkdir /mnt/ftp_name

Finally, just connect!

curlftpfs ftp.yourserver.com /mnt/ftp/ -o user=username:password

*note, passwords are not encrypted, use at your own risk!
